Hi, I'm David.

I build and maintain websites for local businesses and the independents behind them. You work with me directly.

Why local small businesses?

I love where I live, and a lot of why it feels like home is the small businesses in it. The taquería that knows your order. The shop where the owner remembers your name. The places that keep a neighborhood connected instead of interchangeable. They're what make a community feel real, and most of them are too busy running the place to wrestle with a website.

What I've built

I've spent years building software professionally, including at a fintech startup that went public in 2025, so your site will be fast, solid, and built right. These days I'd rather build the kind of site that keeps a neighborhood's businesses online and stick around to take care of it than chase the next shiny thing.

When I wanted a portfolio, the website builders weren't worth the time to make them look and sound like me, so I built my own from scratch, which is exactly what I now do for you. On the side I build things I believe in too: a site to make local government easier to follow, an open-source job-search tool, and a storytelling game.

How I work with you

Send a text or an email with what you need and I get it done. I build the site, but you own it. The domain is in your name and will never be locked to a platform, so you can take it with you whenever you want to stop services. If something needs changing, like new hours, a price, or a fresh photo, you tell me and it's done, usually the same day. There's no ticket queue and no agency markup. You get a real site that I take care of.

Let's build yours.
